Deep Dive and Feedback on ChatGPT Advanced Voice Mode

A user extensively tested ChatGPT's Advanced Voice Mode during a solo road trip to summarize books, reporting an excellent overall experience but offering several core suggestions for improvement:
- Lack of response depth: The model seems overfitted for short replies. Even when prompted to elaborate, it struggles to deliver 10+ minute "lecture-style" deep explanations.
- Silent disconnections: Calls occasionally drop while the user is speaking, without any audio warning, leaving them talking to dead air.
- No tool calling: The bottleneck for productivity is the current lack of tool calling support. Unlocking this would easily push daily usage past 1 hour.
- Transcription noise: Fillers like "um" and "ah" from the voice chat are transcribed into the history, making it hard to directly copy and reuse the text.
