Agents Generating Pages Only to Fill Out Forms

The author points out the weirdest yet most notable detail in Thinking Machines' blog post about Inkling: they first used an LLM to generate a web page for a software engineering job application, and then had an AI agent fill out that very form.

This perfectly illustrates the closed loop of "agents generating apps, only for agents to then operate them"—AI agents are essentially building and then consuming human-facing UIs layer by layer. The author asks: if the end-user is ultimately an agent anyway, why not just provide a more agent-friendly interface, like a CLI or MCP?
