Local LTX Video Generation Outpaces Cloud GPT5.6 Editing
cocktailpeanut · x · 2026-07-19
During real-world video editing tests, developers found that editing via cloud-based Hyperframes (paired with GPT5.6 or Fable) actually took longer than generating a video from scratch locally using the LTX model.
This counterintuitive finding suggests that despite the theoretical efficiency of cloud-based LLMs, current video generation and editing tools are still in their early stages when it comes to response times and practical workflow optimization.
