Supporting open source does not mean rejecting closed source. Closed-source commercial products often pioneer entirely new categories, paving the way for subsequent open-source alternatives. The core demand of the open-source ecosystem is not to eliminate closed source, but to ensure the right of open-source options to exist and thrive.
