Grok Build Launches Game Asset Skill Pack
tetsuoai · x · 2026-07-18
Grok Build has released a comprehensive skill suite for game asset generation, powered by Grok Imagine.
The skills are divided into 5 tracks: game-asset-core, game-animation-frames, game-character-consistency, game-tilesets, and game-ui-icons. The goal is to let you simply describe your game's needs and receive named resource files ready for the engine.
It highlights several key features:
- Engine-ready outputs by default: isolated subjects, keyable backgrounds, no UI text, and editable chained modifications
- Video-first animation: generate video/motion first, then extract frames and perform loop detection
- Character identity consistency maintained across turning, taking damage, changing outfits, and palette variations
- Tilesets automatically check for stitching seams, repeating textures, and color blocks
- UI resources generate uniformly styled button states, icons, and 9-slice panels
