A Single HGX B300 Costs €1.1m

The author shares the real-world costs of procuring an HGX B300: priced at about €1.1m per unit, not to mention the additional datacenter space and at least 0.25–0.5 FTE for operations.
He also estimated the capacity:
- A single B300 delivers about 7000 tokens/s;
- An active user consumes about 40–50 tokens/s;
- This roughly supports only 20 concurrent coding users or 120–180 RAG users.
The conclusion: even with the budget, B300s are incredibly hard to buy, and will likely be outdated in two to five years.
