emollick · x · 2026-07-18
A developer has successfully used **Codex 5.6 Sol** to turn **RollerCoaster Tycoon 2** into a natively running app on the **iPad**. Rather than using an emulator or streaming from a Mac, this was built on the open-source engine **OpenRCT2**: - Compiled directly into an **ARM64 iPad app** - Implemented custom touch controls - Enabled building rides, managing scenarios, and park operations entirely via touch The author also noted that the code has been open-sourced.
