Real Home Networks Are Far More Complex Than Labs

- Dead signal zones in bedrooms
- Neighbor network interference
- Improper Mesh router configurations
- Asymmetric upload/download speeds: for example, a 300Mbps home broadband plan might only offer 5Mbps for uploads
They conclude that in the lab, cloud inference seems more natural because compute is stronger, debugging is easier, and the environment is highly controllable. However, once deployed in real communities and residential settings, network issues become significantly more complex.
