Google Updates Weather Lab

Google announced an upgrade to Weather Lab, an interactive website showcasing its AI weather models, powered by Google DeepMind and Google Research.
The update introduces several new features:
- View global weather forecasts from WeatherNext 2 and MetNet
- Support for looking back at historical forecasts up to 15 days ago
- Point forecasts for specific locations
- Overlay cyclone paths with weather forecasts
- Map layers for temperature, precipitation, pressure, and wind speed
Overall, the update makes Weather Lab more of a user-friendly platform for showcasing and exploring weather models.
