Modelbest, alongside multiple institutions, has open-sourced StaffDeck, an enterprise-grade digital employee platform. It aims to elevate AI Agents from mere chatbots to reliable "digital employees" capable of executing enterprise tasks.
Core design features include: Process-oriented skills (using state machines for SOPs, converting natural language into visual workflows), an OKF structured knowledge base (distinguishing between rules, cases, and other knowledge tiers with traceable answers), and a full-loop feedback system (logging call traces, categorizing negative feedback, and providing human fallback to continuously correct Agent behavior).
Additionally, StaffDeck supports on-premises deployment, scheduled tasks, and integrates with enterprise systems via the MCP protocol. It ships with 5 example digital employees for financial reimbursement, legal compliance, HR services, IT support, and administrative management.
