Cohere Labs announced registrations for the IOL AI Challenge 2026, inviting submissions for open-weight models capable of reasoning in "unseen languages."
Key Rules
- Open-weight models only
- No internet access during inference
- Open to all, with teams of up to 3 people
- Models must run offline on a single T4 GPU with a 30-minute time limit
- Maximum 3 submissions per day, with the best 2 selected for final evaluation
Additional Info
- Opt-in teams with outstanding results will enter the IOL 2026 jury evaluation, competing directly against human participants.
- The deadline is July 26th.
