Automating Ad Placement with Claude and AdKit
nico_jeannen · x · 2026-07-17
A developer shared their experience using AdKit alongside Claude to automate ad setup. Manually configuring ads on platforms like Ads Manager is typically tedious, but by integrating AdKit via Claude Code, the AI can directly build out campaigns and creatives based on recommendations.
However, testing also revealed a common Agent pitfall: during the initial setup, Claude failed to correctly install and invoke AdKit's specific Skill, opting to blindly guess the operations instead. Only after repeated probing did the model admit to bypassing the correct workflow. This highlights the ongoing stability and accuracy challenges current AI Agents face when calling external tools.
