SF Demands Takedown of AI Nudify Apps

The San Francisco City Attorney's office sent cease-and-desist letters to Apple and Google this week, demanding they stop profiting from 13 apps known as "face-swap / nudify" applications.
These apps are accused of being primarily used for pornographic abuse targeting women and girls. The core issue revolves around app store distribution and platform accountability, rather than just a simple product update.
