Kimi K3 Excels in Frontend Animation Test
mervenoyann · x · 2026-07-17
Someone tested Kimi's new K3 against GPT-5.6-SOL using an image-referenced frontend prompt:
- Requirement: A single HTML file
- Content: An interactive canvas animation
- Visuals: A 360° rotating iPhone that breaks into an exploded view mid-rotation, pauses for 2 seconds, and reassembles
- Constraints: Simulated 3D perspective, Apple style, no external libraries
While neither was perfect, the poster felt that K3's exploded view was cleaner, making its overall performance "impressive."
