OpenClaw Introduces Guard Layer for Agents
NectarineMental6732 · reddit · 2026-07-17
Aarvion developed a "guard layer" for OpenClaw agents. Because agents can hold secrets and execute high-risk operations—such as sending emails, publishing posts, deleting files, or even invoking CLI commands to place orders—this added security is crucial.
The guard makes decisions at the tool call hook: Allow / Ask / Deny. Sensitive operations can trigger a one-time Telegram approval, and each decision generates a hash-linked receipt for easy auditing.
It runs natively directly on OpenClaw.
