Silicon-Based Artificial Life Is the Next Frontier
beffjezos · x · 2026-07-17
Beff Jezos believes the next frontier will be "silicon-based artificial life," and it won't just exist in a purely digital sense.\n\nThis post responds to @tszzl's view: if the majority of future minds will be digital, we need to figure out whether they are actually conscious. In his view, it would be far more depressing if countless machine intelligences weren't considered "alive" than if they were.
