Lumo-2 Demonstrates 22 Household Skills
CyberRobooo · x · 2026-07-17
Astribot releases Lumo-2, showing a humanoid robot autonomously completing 22 complex household tasks, considered by the author as one of the strongest public real-robot demos to date.
Capabilities listed:
- Physical understanding: flipping eggs, weighing, cleaning coffee portafilter, grinding beans, mixing drinks
- Temporal reasoning: catching a rolling ball, picking up a rolling egg, placing a cup on a rotating rack
- Dexterous manipulation: tying a bow, packing a bag and zipping it, ironing clothes and hanging them, packing a suitcase, making tea, folding clothes
- Long-horizon collaboration: human-robot or dual-robot cooperation to assemble gift boxes
The author's take: such demos suggest practical humanoid robots for home use are nearing reality.
