Kimi K3 Tops Web Engineering Benchmark
cramforce · x · 2026-07-17
Vercel CEO @rauchg pointed out that Moonshot AI's Kimi K3 achieved the best overall performance in comprehensive web engineering benchmarks, surpassing all proprietary models. This marks the first time an open-source model has topped this type of evaluation.
Developer @cramforce noted that the existence of open-source SOTA models effectively pushes proprietary models to improve performance, lower prices, and iterate faster. Currently, the highest success rate for the top model in this benchmark sits at 92% (reaching up to 96% with assistance), with no model yet achieving a perfect 100%.
