Reve Launches Layer Groups Feature
cantrell · x · 2026-07-17
Reve has introduced Layer Groups, preserving the crucial "layer grouping" functionality from traditional image editing, which now coexists with their existing regions system.
This feature brings three main capabilities:
- Restricting local effects (shaders) to a specific group
- Allowing text and image layers to be moved and scaled together
- Applying annotation-style natural language instructions directly to an entire group
The author highlights that Layer Groups are simple but powerful, and the feature is already live in Reve.
