Compound Advances Multi-Model Programming Agents
danshipper · x · 2026-07-17
Compound engineering team is advancing a series of Claude Code capabilities:
- Let Fable handle only key planning and architecture steps, while the main orchestration remains on another model
- Integrate "cross-model intelligence" in document review, code review, and CE POV, aggregating suggestions from multiple model subscriptions into an "oracle" capability
- Further extend to cross-model work, parallel execution, and improved worktree management
- Enhance babysitting skill to handle stacked PRs, GitHub/Graphite pipelines
- Also strengthen Devin CLI, Cline, OpenCode, and Windows support
Overall, this is about engineering practical multi-model collaborative coding agents, not just model capability marketing.
