Google Vids Launches Personal AI Avatars

Google added new AI video capabilities to Vids: users can have a digital avatar/personal AI avatar appear in videos, effectively "appearing on camera"; it also introduces text-to-video and video editing tools powered by Gemini Omni.
The update focuses on integrating "generation" and "editing" into the same video workflow, supporting content creation based on prompts and reference images.
