Sol-Ultra Fails in Editing Evaluation
TheZvi · x · 2026-07-16
Sol-Ultra "clearly fails" in editor eval.
The author compared two models' performance in error-correction scenarios:
- When Fable flagged an issue, the author was almost always actually wrong;
- When Sol flagged a non-trivial issue that needed fixing, or said something couldn't be claimed, the author was usually right.
The author concludes that the difference in reliability between the two for these editing/verification tasks is stark.
