Fireworks AI announced the completion of a $150 million Series D funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to $17.5 billion. The company also disclosed that its ARR has exceeded $1 billion, processing an average of 4 trillion+ tokens daily, with 95%+ coming from models specifically optimized for customer data.
The author's perspective is that they are increasingly convinced that companies focused on "inference/inference infrastructure," along with those already generating O(B) level revenue, will transform into truly sustainable businesses much faster than many "neolabs."
