Apollo Go Eyes Expansion Into Kazakhstan

During WAIC 2026, Baidu's Apollo Go signed a memorandum of understanding with Turlov Private Holding (TPH) to explore introducing autonomous driving technology and services in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, Zhaslan Madiyev, was present at the signing. Baidu stated that the collaboration will combine TPH's local resources and expertise with Apollo Go's experience in autonomous driving technology and operations. The company also mentioned that after expanding into the Middle East and Europe, Apollo Go continues to seek new international market opportunities.
