NotebookLM has introduced a new Short Video Overviews feature.
Users can upload PDFs, web links, notes, or YouTube videos, and the system will generate a 1-minute vertical video tailored for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. The original post emphasizes that these videos feature voiceovers, animations, and on-screen text, ready for direct publishing.
Described as a "goodbye to video editing," the feature requires no CapCut, camera, or face reveals, and is available on the free plan. The author notes it compresses the "1 article to 1 video" workflow down to a few clicks, making it perfect for faceless content creation.
