Moonshine's File-Based Editing Protocol

enjalot · x · 2026-07-16

Moonshine works by first generating a lightweight Vite application, where the frontend submits modifications to markdown or chart-related files via an API.

It manages all content within a single git repository, enabling humans and agents to edit in parallel while actively avoiding conflicts. Comments are also designed as a file-based protocol, making it robust to feed annotations back to the agent for further processing.
