Sakana Fugu Integrates NVIDIA Open-Source Model Stack
tkasasagi · x · 2026-07-16
Sakana AI announced a new phase of collaboration with NVIDIA, integrating NVIDIA's open-source model stack (including the Nemotron series) into its multi-agent orchestration system, Fugu.
They emphasized that Fugu doesn't simply scale up a single large model. Instead, it acts as an "intelligent orchestrator" behind a unified API, dynamically selecting, coordinating, and combining the capabilities of multiple models based on the task. The company noted that this architecture is more modular, adaptable, and resilient.
