Vision is the Future of Intelligence

Marking his 14th year at Google today, he argues that images/vision are the true future of intelligence.
His core thesis is that language is merely a low-bandwidth abstraction. The real world isn't text or speech, but is constructed of space, time, and vision. Therefore, genuine intelligent capabilities will increasingly rely on multimodality, especially visual understanding.
