Claude for Teachers Now Open to Educators
CodeByPoonam · x · 2026-07-16
Anthropic launched Claude for Teachers, offering free premium Claude access to verified K-12 educators in the US.
The core value is integrating Claude directly into teaching workflows: it connects to Learning Commons for academic standards across 50 states, taps into real curriculums like OpenSciEd and Illustrative Mathematics, and auto-generates standards-aligned lesson plans. It also supports differentiated instruction, offering tailored scaffolds for various readiness levels, bilingual learners, and IEP requirements.
Additionally, the product integrates with ASSISTments, Brisk Teaching, and Canva Education, and can ingest past student assessment data to aid lesson prep.
