A developer who has long praised Claude's design capabilities noted that the model recently seems to have gotten dumber. They speculate that either the model's overall capabilities have declined, or the AI baseline requirements have increased—meaning users might now have to enable the highest compute mode, whereas the previous "high" quota has been reduced to the bare minimum.
