Claude Code Tested With Terminal Saves Resources

The author suggests that if you use terminals like Ghostty, this "open-source and free" terminal is worth trying.
After using it alongside nearly 10 agent CLIs in a single day, their experience was highly positive: no lag, no input delay, no freezing or crashing, with average CPU usage around 10% and memory around 266MB. In contrast, they noted Warp uses about 600MB and Ghostty about 366MB (both measured with a single empty tab and no tasks running). They conclude that this terminal is far more resource-efficient under heavy workloads.
