Here is a more complete changelog for Claude Code CLI 2.1.211. In addition to introducing --forward-subagent-text, it addresses several engineering issues:
- Bi-directional overrides, zero-width characters, and similar quotes in permission preview messages are now sanitized to prevent tool inputs from "disguising" themselves as approved content.
- When the PreToolUse hook is set to ask, it now genuinely blocks the direct execution of unsandboxed Bash commands.
- Fixed issues such as multiple sessions logging out together after waking from sleep, plugin MCP servers failing to reconnect after idle wake-up, and default model selection anomalies during Vertex/Bedrock startup.
