Reddit User Admits Extreme Reliance on AI at Work

A Reddit user recently shared their experience of becoming deeply reliant on AI in the workplace. After using AI for resume writing and interview prep during a period of unemployment, they secured a high-paying job and began using enterprise AI for 90% of their daily tasks (e.g., drafting emails, processing Excel, and structuring meeting notes).
Despite receiving high praise from colleagues and management, the user frequently feels lost and anxious, admitting they feel like "AI is carrying them." They confessed that losing access to AI tomorrow would leave them blanking out in meetings and severely disrupting their workflow. They remain unsure whether this is simply the new learning curve of the modern workplace, or if AI has become a psychological and professional "crutch."
