Sakana Fugu Integrates NVIDIA Nemotron
SakanaAILabs · x · 2026-07-16
Sakana AI announced the next phase of its collaboration with NVIDIA: integrating NVIDIA's open-source model stack, particularly the Nemotron series, into the Sakana Fugu multi-agent orchestration system.
The core idea is not to keep stacking a single large model, but to let Fugu act as an intelligent orchestrator under a unified API, dynamically selecting, coordinating, and combining the capabilities of multiple models based on the task. Sakana believes open-source models are more valuable within agent systems than when used individually. This partnership will also provide both parties with feedback from real multi-step workflows to improve both the models and the orchestration layer.
