Users are complaining that the new version of ChatGPT has made common entry points harder to use:
- On mobile, finding chat history within projects requires navigating more layers, reducing efficiency.
- On desktop, the new Work and Codex menus make it difficult to open chats in a normal large view, leaving windows smaller and more cluttered.
The author argues that ChatGPT shouldn't be designed primarily for pro/power users, as most people just need a clear, simple way to find their chats, projects, and folders. They ultimately call for restoring the old overview, or at least providing it as an option.
