AI Biosecurity Screening Research Update

This new research on AI and biosecurity tested updated screening tools to see if they could identify short sequence fragments designed by AI. The overall results are encouraging, but they also indicate that as AI biological capabilities continue to advance, continuous red-teaming, research, and safeguards will remain necessary.
