Thinking Machines Open-Sources Inkling

Thinking Machines has released the open-source model Inkling: a 975B parameter MoE with 41B active parameters, supporting a 1 million token context and natively capable of text, image, and audio reasoning. The model was pre-trained from scratch using 45 trillion multimodal tokens, and the weights are available under the Apache 2.0 license.
The post also lists its launch benchmarks: AIME 2026 97.1%, GPQA Diamond 87.9%, SWE-bench Verified 77.6%, SWE-bench Pro 54.3%, Terminal-Bench 2.1 63.8%, MCP Atlas 74.1%, MMMU Pro 73.5%, and VoiceBench 91.4%.
