Renowned AI researcher John Schulman shared the open-source model Inkling released by Thinking Machines, revealing that its weights are now available and integrated into the Tinker platform. He noted that pre-training began last winter, and since mid-January, a small team has built upon it to develop coding, reasoning, and agentic capabilities.
