Paperclip Turns Molecular Libraries into an Agent File System

james_y_zou · x · 2026-07-16

The Paperclip team has transformed popular molecular databases—UniProt, PDB, ChEMBL—into a unified, agent-oriented virtual file system.

The goal is to make deep research on molecular databases faster and more accurate for agents. They claim it enables more accurate retrieval and research across 10^6 级分子 that is 10 倍 faster, while also integrating millions of full-text papers. The project is currently free to use.
