Elicit Launches API and MCP

Elicit announces that its API and MCP server are now generally available, with upgraded search capabilities and a systematic review API.
Key updates include:
- Search API: Access 138M academic papers and 545K clinical trials, supporting semantic and keyword search; claims paper recall outperforms 4 common retrieval tools on BioASQ benchmark.
- Reports API: Input a research question and generate a report with full citations based on hundreds of papers or trials.
- Systematic Review API: End-to-end systematic reviews with control over search strategy, screening criteria, data extraction parameters, and report output.
All three capabilities support MCP, connecting to Claude connector, ChatGPT plugin, or other compatible clients.
