Predicting Disease Trajectories with EHR and Genetics

A newly published study in *Nature* attempts to use **Electronic Health Records (EHR)** and **Polygenic Risk Scores (PRS)** to predict a person's future health and disease trajectory years in advance. The author also focuses on the **biological mechanisms behind the diseases**, rather than merely calculating risk scores. Eric Topol mentioned he will discuss this paper in this Friday's Ground Truths.
