Claude's Anti-Reverse Engineering Scheme Instantly Cracked

Jeidoz · reddit · 2026-07-15

This is a recap of a video: while working on anti-cheat/anti-reverse engineering, the author had Claude Opus 4.8 High team up with sub-agents to design a protection scheme.

The result was dramatic: Claude spent all night generating a solution, only for it to be quickly cracked by a simple open-source tool. To make matters worse, it left extensive explanatory comments right in the source code, laying out the security logic perfectly.

While the video is humorous overall, it highlights a reality: even seemingly powerful models might fail to deliver security designs that can withstand actual adversarial attacks.
