OfficeCLI Empowers Agents to Control Office Directly

OfficeCLI is an open-source command-line tool that enables AI agents to directly manipulate Office files without installing Microsoft Office.
It supports generating and editing Excel, Word, and PowerPoint files. It can also render documents, inspect output quality, and automatically fix formatting or layout issues, forming a complete Create → render → inspect → fix workflow.
The author emphasizes that this goes beyond "generating a basic document" to serve real business processes: for instance, automatically creating an Excel dashboard, a Word executive summary, and a PowerPoint report from sales data. It can also be used for weekly reports, financial models, client proposals, investor decks, and converting meeting minutes into action items.
