They also acknowledged limitations: the data uses aggregated benchmarks from Artificial Analysis, which may not be perfect, but is still useful enough as a general reference. Essentially, the post creates an "efficiency-ranked boundary map" for open-source models, making it easy to spot which models deliver more bang for the buck at equivalent active parameter counts.
