Tencent Hunyuan Hy3 API Calls Surge 68x

Tencent Hunyuan announced that the total API calls for Hy3 have surged over 68 times compared to the previous Hy2 generation. Continuing its growth momentum from the preview version, it ranked first on the OpenRouter global model usage leaderboard just a week after release.
On the product side, Hy3 shows stronger competitiveness in Agent products: among WorkBuddy users who select their own models, 60% chose Hy3. Tencent claims that compared to the preview version, Hy3 achieves higher intelligence among models of the same size, rivaling larger flagship models in certain tasks, while also seeing significant improvements in stability and cost-effectiveness.
Currently, Hy3 is integrated into multiple services including WorkBuddy/CodeBuddy, Yuanbao, Marvis, and ima. Its API is also live on Tencent Cloud TokenHub and several overseas platforms. For the open-source version, the team has lowered deployment barriers based on community needs, allowing it to run on as few as a single inference GPU or even a local machine with sufficient memory.
