Ahead of the AI Dev Tools Zoomcamp 2026, a series of free warm-up events will be held, including 4 workshops, 1 Q&A, and a course launch. These aim to help participants understand the updated curriculum before the cohort begins on August 31.
The four workshops will cover:
- AI-native developer workflows: Using AI for planning, implementation, review, testing, debugging, and code comprehension while maintaining control.
- AI-assisted full-stack app building: Going from product specs to frontend, backend, OpenAPI contracts, testing, Docker, deployment, and CI/CD.
- Coding Agent capability stack: Introducing how MCP, Skills, Plugins, Hooks, Subagents, and custom agents combine into coding agent workflows.
- Open-source AI tools for security/audit/ops: Practical tools for code review, security scanning, auditing, diagnostics, and DevOps.
Additionally, there will be a pre-course live Q&A and kickoff session, and registration for the free cohort is currently open.
