Apple Intelligence Gets On-Device AI Filing Approval

The Cyberspace Administration of China announced the addition of 7 new filings for "registered mobile on-device generative AI services," which includes "Apple Intelligence" and others.
The post notes that this means relevant capabilities for domestic Siri/Apple Intelligence are likely closer to launch. The announcement also lists other on-device AI services like Huawei Xiaoyi, vivo Blue Heart, Xiaomi HyperOS, and the Nubia Doubao large model.
