5le on SEO and Consumption Boundaries in the Agent Era

5le · x · 2026-07-15

@5le argues that new interactive interfaces will cause "SEO" to adapt to the new UI, rather than the UI itself becoming the new SEO. He also predicts that average consumers won't fully transition into a world completely consumed by agents. A measurable standard is whether users can easily undo decisions made by an agent: - Users are more likely to accept agents handling things like daily goods or online shopping, where returns are easy. - But for things like groceries that are hard to return, users probably won't want an agent to buy them if there's a chance of getting it wrong. He concludes that until agents truly "understand you," consumers will remain cautious about giving them full autonomy.
