Claude Accused of Auto-Switching Models Mid-Task

The author complained that when building a medical knowledge graph, Claude first flagged traces of Fable 5 usage, then switched the task to Opus 4.8. He argued that if the model is marketed as 'the smartest model,' such auto-switching behavior is foolish.
