Intelligence Theory Goes Beyond Math and CS

The author argues that there is still plenty of theoretical work to be done on intelligence that does not rely on mathematics or computer science, questioning whether treating intelligence as a simple variant of existing disciplines might actually slow down progress.
They also suggest that the true bottleneck may stem from researchers being too conservative in how they understand “intelligence,” rather than just facing pure formulaic or engineering hurdles.
